The Cliffs Hotel Blackpool Wednesday November 13th 2024
The Band was invited to perform Christmas tunes and carols for the staff and holidaymakers at the hotel who thoroughly enjoyed listening to us play. A collection to buy Christmas gifts for poorly children was very successful and we were pleased to have done our bit to help!

Highfurlong School Monday November 11th 2024
This was the Band's first ever visit to Highfurlong School and we were warmly welcomed by the pupils and staff. We played our usual selection of tunes and they clapped along in time with the music. Well done to Isha and Archie on the their first trip out with the Band!

Presentation Of The New School Minibus Thursday October 17th 2024
The Band was proud to perform for two of the Nolan sisters and friends at the presentation of our new minibus bought by the Variety Club and FOPCA. The sisters are "Blackpool Royalty" so we thank them for taking time out of their busy schedules to do the honours at PCA!!

Presentation of the Pirate Ship Tuesday October 15th 2024
It was an honour to perform for Sir Bill Beaumont, President of World Rugby, and other members of the "Wooden Spoon" organisation who came to officially present the school with our new pirate ship. We hope they enjoyed their visit to PCA as much as we enjoyed accepting their gift!

The Rock Gardens Saturday September 21st 2024
The Band performed at the Park's "Fun Day" in the sunshine and everyone had a super day. Lucas, Lacy and Tyler all made their debuts with the Band - hopefully this will be the first of many trips out with us. Sean Newby also performed with us - top man!

St John's Square, Blackpool July 20th 2024
The Band performed its last concert before the summer holiday for Coastal RadioDAB in St John's Square. Hundreds of shoppers and holidaymakers passed through the Square and many stopped to listen to us playing our favourite tunes. Another school year is over so roll on the next one!

PCA Summer Production July 11th 2024
The Band was proud to support the fantastic school production of "A Crazy Little Thing Called Rock" performed by Key Stage 3 pupils. Every pupil was involved from acting and singing through to sound, lighting and backstage organisation so well done to everyone!

BASSO Bispham Rock Gardens Tuesday July 2nd 2024
There was a great turn out of PCA pupils and staff who perform with BASSO and we were joined by other young people to perform our repertoire for the Friends of the Rock Gardens. There was a large audience who gave us a standing ovation at the end of the concert!

PCA Year 11 Leavers' Assembly Friday June 28th 2024
The school hall was packed with parents, carers, pupils and staff so a small Band performed from the back of the hall. Thanks to Mr Pye for coming to work early for to play with us and to Cameron on drums for playing perfectly in his first proper concert!

Bispham Rock Gardens Saturday June 15th 2024
Flaming June and it poured down!! Never mind - we performed to a large crowd for the Friends of the Rock Gardens and played really well. Mr Bradford insisted the sun was about to come out and it did - but only after we had finished playing! Not to worry though - we really enjoyed ourselves.

Blackpool North Train Station Wednesday June 12th 2024
The Band performed for members of Blackpool Council, local dignitaries and members of the public at the opening of the new tram stop under the Hilton Hotel. We were invited to take refreshments at Marco Pierre White's restaurant in the hotel afterwards which was a lovely surprise!

Ribby Hall Music Festival Friday May 17th 2024
The Band performed at the annual music festival with pupils from eight other schools and with Park's School Choir. There were some important people in the audience including an MP, a deputy Chief Constable and the mayors of local towns so we were all on our best behaviour!
