World Book Day
Today is world book day at park!
All the children looked amazing in there book day costumes. We had a look on the whiteboard at who everyone came as and watched a clip from the film or read a bit of the story,

Sensory room

Today in 1P for phonics we went to the sensory room!
We looked at our phonics sounds and put our phonics songs on the whiteboard, We matched the lights to the colours in our songs.
We all loved spending time in the sensory room.

Mini movers

Today in 1P we had some special guests come visit us… the mini movers.
We were excited to dance and move to the music and trying our best to copy the moves they were showing us.
We had lots of fun waving and going under the very colourful parachute.

Reading in our own way

In 1P this afternoon we were doing one of our favourite activities reading our story books.
We were all picking out of our refreshed box of stories and choosing which ones looked the best.
We all love reading in 1P looking and exploring new kind of books.

Louis BIRTHDAY PARTY

In 1P today we had a birthday for our friend Louis.
Louis brought in a sausage dog cake to share with all of his friends.
Everyone loved trying the special birthday cake and loved singing happy birthday to their friend.

Sensory room phonics
Today, we enjoyed our phonics lesson in the sensory room, which provided a delightful change for the children as they listened to phonics songs on repeat. This session centered around the 'm' sound, and the children had a great time engaging with the music while exploring and unwinding in the鈥�

Enjoying the sun
Today the weather was absolutely beautiful so we took the children out for an extended break time. We loved trying the new bumblebee equipment the bouncers and the bikes.

Looking at how our body moves

Today, we explored the movement of our bodies during circle time, looking at these movements and their visual representation. The children actively participated and expressed great enjoyment in the music that was playing.

Reading in our own way
Today we sat down in a circle and all read a story in our own way.
We all listened while an adult read a story to us, then it was our turn to pick a story of interest out of a box of stories.
We all looked and read our stories in our very own way.

Mirror time
This afternoon, we examined various features of our heads, including our ears, eyes, nose, and mouth. We used mirrors to observe the features of our faces. The children enjoyed making silly faces in the mirrors

Circle time
Today we had our first circle time.
The children all came and showed an interest in what was going on and came and sat on a chair and joined in.
The children who joined us were all looking at the screen and the adult who was singing and interacting with them!

Sensory room fun
Today, we spent time in the sensory room. We enjoyed unwinding and discovering the various features, including the bubble tubes and the vibrant lights and patterns on the walls and floor. It was a delightful and calming experience for everyone in the sensory room.
