Myerscough group
Students have been handling the Bearded dragon and the Geko today at Myerscough. They have worked in groups to bath both reptiles in preparation for them shedding their skin.
Students also cleaned out the Gerbil cages and make the rodents some enrichment of their enclosures.

2E Morning Minibeast Hunt.
2E enjoyed a minibeast hunt in the Berry building mud kitchen area.
They explored the different habitats that insects might live in and found ladybirds, worms, slugs, woodlice and a centipede.
Pupils returned all insects back to nature and washed their hands afterwards.

Outdoor learning day
Today 2R enjoyed an afternoon in forest school making natural weaves on a loom. The children included grasses, straw, twigs, leaves and wild flowers in their weaving. They did an amazing job. Well done

Water Fun
This afternoon, 1B popped on their waterproofs and went outside to engage in some water play. We blew bubbles, mixed, poured and tipped water. It was great to hear the children using vocabulary such as ‘full,’ ‘empty’ and ‘all gone’. Well done everyone.

Cloud Watching
As part of our outside learning day 3J went outside to watch the clouds and look for shapes we could see in them. Unfortunately the whole sky was covered in a giant one so we couldn’t see any individual shapes. We watched some on YouTube instead.
